Hip Hip Hooray! The home is opening back up for visiting and we’ve never seen the residents so smiley. From window visits to indoor visits the residents and families are loving seeing each other again. As restrictions ease we are finally able to open up to more visits. For the past few weeks we have had indoor visits in the back lounge of the home, this has been updated now and as of Monday 26th April we are having indoor visits in residents rooms. As always with indoor visits you must arrive 30 minutes before your visit for a Lateral Flow test before you are allowed entry to the home, all visitors MUST wear a mask at ALL TIMES. All visits in residents rooms are no longer subject to social distancing however visitors must make every effort to touch as few things in the residents rooms as possible as anything touched by a visitor must be cleaned and sanitised upon their departure. Our Garden and Window visits have been extended from 30 minutes to 1 hour now, however our indoor visits remain at 30 minutes for the time being. Garden visits can include up to 6 people from 6 households with the resident being one of the 6. Our indoor visits are still 1 person per visit for now.
We thank you all for your continued support throughout these tough times and your understanding in how visits are progressing slowly and carefully, we all have your loved ones best interests at heart.
