The spiritual well-being of the residents is an important part of life at Summerhill.
Short daily devotions are held from Monday to Friday. Then there are services including hymn singing on Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. The daily devotions and services are taken by various Open Brethren Assemblies in the surrounding area.These meetings are always well attended by the residents.
A favourite, with the residents is the Friday afternoon hymn singing which is led by volunteers.
The beliefs and life styles of the residents are paramount to their care and this is respected by all of the staff and volunteers at Summerhill.
