Summerhill has twenty one bedrooms, two of which can accommodate married couples.   Eight of the bedrooms are en-suite but there is a commitment to a programme of development to enhance the facilities on offer which will increase the number of bedrooms with en-suite facilities.

At the moment all of the bedrooms are close to bathroom or toilet facilities and all are equipped with wash handbasins.

Respite care can also be provided and from time to time for individuals and couples.

There are two attractive lounges available to residents.  The smaller of these has a television and video.

Resident's rooms are cleaned twice weekly and all laundry is done on the premises.

Meals are served in the dining room but can also be served in residents rooms as may be required.  Special diets are catered for by our cooks and residents are encouraged to contribute to menu planning.  

A hairdresser visits the home every week and arrangements can be made for other specialist services such as chiropody, optician and dental care.

Residents are encouraged to provide feedback and to raise concerns at any time.  The monthly residents meeting is an opportunity for residents to provide feedback as well as to inform on any staffing changes, special activities and new developments.
